Going to the park

A few weeks ago we met some friends at Sauce for lunch and then some of us went to the park. This was Alex's first trip to the park and I think he had a good time. He wasn't so sure about the swing at first but then he started to enjoy it.  I was having a good time too until Alex started to eat the sand.

I love the swing

I think I am going to throw sand now.

Alex loves to dance

Alex was playing with a toy when we were in St. Louis that plays music. He would change the songs to the one he wanted and then show off his dance moves.  He would move to the middle of the room if he didn't think everyone could see him and then start to dance.

Our trip to St. Louis

Abby, Alex and I went to St. Louis the first weekend in February. It was a short trip but we had so much fun. Alex loved spending time at Grammy's house. I think he touched everything in every room of the house. He would laugh and giggle when he saw more toys in a different room. Our plane ride was really long. I think Alex was afraid he would miss something so he stayed awake the entire flight until we landed.  He was so excited to see Grammy and Grandpa when he woke up at the airport.

finally asleep with only a few minutes left of the flight
going for a ride with Grandpa.  We missed the big snowfall but Alex did get to see a little bit of what was still there
hanging out with Grammy
My parents have a clown statue that plays music. Alex wanted to hear him play the song all the time. He figured out how to turn it on and off himself

more pictures with Grammy

Alex wore himself out while we were there.

My mom had my the family over for brunch on Sunday morning. it was so good to see everyone.  Here is a picture of Alex with his cousin, Kaia and Mason
playing again with Grandpa. I think Alex thought he was a big toy

Grammy....are you out there??
My mom brought out a huge red ball for Alex to play with. His face was priceless when he saw it.  He tried to take it up the steps with him.

we just got here.  do we have to go home so soon??

Who is that little boy??

A few weeks ago I caught Alex playing with his shadow on the wall. It was so cute.  He would run by and see his shadow but couldn't figure out how it got there.  Sometimes he would walk really slow to see himself.  He is probably wondering when his new little friend is going to come back to play.

Superbowl

The Arizona Cardinals made it to the Superbowl this year.  It was so exciting!!  We went over to Ken and Michelle's for a Superbowl party.  The game was amazing but unfortunately the Cardinals lost.  Maybe next year.

Alex had so much fun jumping on the trampoline. He thought it was so funny when Abby would jump on it so he could run around.
Grandpa......what do you think of our shirts??

Uncle Bruce and Aunt Judy come to Phoenix

Uncle Bruce and Aunt Judy came to visit us in January.  We had a great time while they were here.  Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures.  We did go to Maggiano's for dinner one night and Alex loved the pasta there.  I think we will be going back soon.  I also wanted to thank them for babysitting Alex.  We are looking forward to seeing you soon!!!
