Our San Diego vacation

Every year since we moved to Phoenix we go to San Diego for a week.  We love it there.  This year we loaded up the rented minivan and headed off for the week. We had a blast!! It was nice to spend time as a family especially since Wes has been busy at work.

We spent alot of time on the beach. We rented a jogging stroller and we were able to take walks close to the ocean. Alex liked walking around on the beach with Daddy and Moosie.

Visiting the Zoo, Legoland and Seaworld

While we were in San Diego we tried to take Alex to all of the parks. We went to the Zoo on Monday. Unfortunately Alex didn't have a great time. I think he was tired.  On Tuesday we went to Legoland and Alex found an area that he loved to play in. On Wednesday we took him to Seaworld. There is a new Sesame Street area that he really liked.  We went to a dolphin show but he wanted to play instead.  So, we took  him back to Seaworld on Friday for more fun. Only this time he found the water area to play in.

Fun times in San Diego

Eating breakfast the first morning in San Diego. Alex is usually a picky eater but he ate great while we were there and even tried some new foods.

We have been taking Autzen to San Diego for 4 years and every year when we walk him on the beach or the boardwalk people look at us like we are walking a bear. We know Autzen is big but we still think he looks like a chocolate lab.

One day we took Autzen to dog beach. He loves it there and plays until it is time to go home.  He doesn't swim in our pool but he swims in the ocean.
