Grandma and Grandpa Tyree (Wes' parents) came in town this past weekend for a visit. We haven't seen them since our last trip to Kiawah so we were looking forward to seeing them. They arrived into town late Friday night so we didn't see them until Saturday morning.

Abby, Tri and Rudy also came over Saturday night for dinner. Rudy scared us Friday night. His eye and neck were swollen so Abby and Tri took him to the animal hospital and the vet said he probably got bit by something. After a shot of steroids and antihistamines he was feeling better.

On Monday we wanted to go to the zoo but when we woke up it was raining. So we met Grandma and Grandpa at IHOP for breakfast. Once we were done the rain had stopped so we decided to go to the Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium.

You could touch the starfish that were in this tank. Alex did well and used one finger to touch the starfish. He wanted to touch the fish again only this time when they were done Wes didn't realize that Alex had picked up the fish and started to walk away with it! Oops!! The starfish was returned back to his tank... unharmed!!

you could touch the stingrays in this tank but we decided it would be best for Alex to just look!

we were amazed at how close you were to the animals. This cage with the baby while tiger wasn't more than 10 feet away from us.

After we saw the zebras Alex wanted to go see the "A" He thought we were starting the alphabet all over.
Evan was sound asleep and we walked toward the entrance so we could leave and the parrots were so loud that they woke Evan. He was trying to cover himself up.

Once we came home from dinner Alex decided he wanted to sing Evan some songs
