The Ducks are going to the National Championship!!! There were a few things that I learned about Wes when we first met and one of them was he was a HUGE Oregon Duck fan!! Over the years me and my family have become fans too. I have gone to games in Oregon at Autzen Stadium and we have traveled to a few games as well. So when the Ducks won against Oregon State I was so excited to be able to see them play in the Championship game too.
Sunday night before the game there was an Oregon Pep Rally. Wes and I met Abby and Tri to go to the rally! We couldn't believe how many people were there! It was great to see everyone all dressed up in their Green and Yellow. Alex had fun yelling "Go Ducks" at everyone. The boys certainly made some new friends that night.

the boys loved being able to everything when they were on Tri and Daddy's shoulders. Well, Alex didn't last long he was a little afraid and was grabbing Daddy's forehead too tight!!
January 10th was the National Championship!! We left for the game around 2 and tailgated with friends before the game.

I love the sign behind Wes........Go Ducks!! Alex was so sad that he didn't get to go to the game. He told Juliette that she could drive him to the game and he could buy one ticket... so funny!

Our ride!!! Tri hooked us up with this awesome limo. It was so funny to drive into the parking lot and see everyone look at the limo. I have never seen anything like this!!
Wes had a friend in town for the game and he knew some other people that he went to college with that were in town too.
Abby and I walked around for a bit while the guys were tailgating and we ran into "On the Rocks" from the show "The Sing Off"
We saw so many Oregon fans in the parking lot. It was a sea of green and yellow until we got into the stadium and realized that all of the Auburn fans were inside..

We were so lucky to be able to go to the game and see the Ducks play for the National Championship. I like to call it the "Superbowl for college football"

The Ducks tied the score 19-19 with only a few minutes left in the game then Auburn was able to score a field goal in the final seconds. The final score was 22-19. It was amazing game and unfortunate that the Ducks lost but we are already looking forward to the 2011 football season!!
