I went to SKY ZONE!!

While we were in St. Louis we went to a place called Sky Zone. It looks like a warehouse with trampoline courts inside. There is a smaller court for young kids and 3 larger courts for aerobics or dodgeball tournaments. We know one of the owners and he arranged for us to go an hour before Sky Zone was open to the public.

Alex was so excited when he got on the trampoline and he immediately started jumping!
having so much fun
He jumped for almost 45 minutes and had a blast. We can't wait to take him back on our next trip to St. Louis.
Grammy ... are you watching me?
Mommy got on the trampolines too
And so did Pa
I think Pa was having a lot of fun too
Grammy and Evan watching. I'm sure Evan is looking forward to going to Sky Zone when he gets older.

Sky Zone!
Bruce met us there too so he could watch Alex

Snow!

A few days after being in St. Louis we woke up to snow!! I was so happy that Alex was going to get to see snow while we were there. I think my dad was just as excited for Alex to get to play in the snow. He went to Target earlier in the day to get him snow boots.
standing by the door is really cold
Once Alex woke up from his nap most of the snow had already melted but he wanted to go outside and play
making a snowball
look mommy....I'm out in the snow!
Pa even went into the attic to find our old sled. He pulled Alex around the yard and he seemed to love it

St. Louis Visit

I decided to take the boys to St. Louis for a little vacation. My mom suggested that I fly back with her and my dad after Christmas and then she would fly back to Phoenix with me to help me on the plane with the boys. We had a great trip!! It was so nice to spend time with Grammy and Pa and see friends and family.
Evan so happy to be on his first plane ride. We took his car seat on the plane and he took a nap once we took off. He woke up half way through the flight and drank a bottle and then he fell back asleep. He is a great traveler!
Alex sat with Grammy and Pa for most of the flight. We took off at 7:30 Phoenix time so I thought Alex would sleep on the plane. He didn't close his eyes for a minute. We landed in St. Louis at 11:30 and he was still wide awake.
Arriving in St. Louis!! It is cold here
Alex showing Evan how to play with 'bear"
Aunt Judy and Uncle Bruce came over to visit the night after we arrived
Evan with cousin Alli
mommy and her boys
Evan with Molly and Aunt Debbie. They came over for dinner on Tuesday night along with Uncle Sandy, Zach and my grandpa. It was great to see everyone
The weather was really cold in St. Louis. Most days were in the single digits. Alex didn't seem to mind being bundled up to go outside.
On Wednesday night we went out to eat with Bruce, Alli and Bobby Plager. Judy and Katie were under the weather
Bobby Plager is a family friend. He was also a former player and coach for the St. Louis Blues. I would love for him to teach Alex and Evan how to ice skate once they are older.

Merry Christmas 2009

This year Wes, Abby and Tri were all scheduled to work on Christmas Day. So my parents decided to come to Phoenix to spend the holiday with me and the boys. Instead of opening presents on Christmas morning we would celebrate when everyone got off work.

I love this picture. We have such a hard time getting Alex to smile but he is so happy to be with Grammy and Pa. They came over early Christmas morning to play with the boys

Evan resting before Santa's arrival
I told Alex that Santa was coming during naptime. He showed up along with alot of little elves to deliver alot of presents!! Alex must have been excited because he woke up an hour early from his nap. I loved seeing his face when he saw all of the presents under the tree.
Pa spent almost 3 hours putting together Alex's new art desk. Thank you Pa for all of your hard work!!
Alex loved it!! He couldn't wait to draw his first picture
Alex looking at the coffee mugs he gave Grammy. Look Grammy they have my picture on them
Abby and Tri opening their presents
A few years ago I bought Wes this Oregon trailer hitch for his car. By last Christmas it was still sitting in the laundry room so I wrapped it up for him again. This year he got it as a present again!! Maybe three times is a charm and he will put it on the car this year

Christmas Eve

Wes was scheduled to be on call for Christmas Eve and he was busy at the hospital and didn't make it home for dinner. While Abby and Tri were on their way over to our house Tri was called into the hospital for an emergency so we were missing a few people for dinner.

Merry Christmas Juliette

We feel very lucky to have found an amazing nanny. Juliette is great with the boys and they just love her. She is a great fit for our family and she helps me out alot. And she loves Moose too. Thank you Juliette for all that you do for us.
Juliette was so sweet to think of us this Christmas. She got Alex a set of Mickey Mouse golf clubs
Thank you so much. I love my new clubs!!
she also got Alex play dough. And she got Evan a Mickey Mouse sleeper. It is adorable!!
Later that day I went out to finish Christmas shopping and Juliette helped Alex make Christmas cookies.
these are looking pretty good
While I was gone it started to rain and Autzen gets so scared when he hears wind or rain. Juliette found him under Alex's new bed. I'm not sure how he fit under there but she took a picture to show me
