Our last day in San Diego

Saturday was our last day in San Diego. We had a great trip.  It was time to pack up and go home.  We are looking forward to coming back next year.

We took Alex to play on the beach while we were in San Diego and he loved it!!  At first he liked playing in the sand and then he saw the ocean.  He was not afraid of the water at all.  

Grammy's March Visit

Grammy came into town this past weekend. It was a quick visit but we had a lot of fun. She was really busy spending time with Alex and helping Abby with wedding plans.  We are looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks when we go to St. Louis.

I was sad that Grammy had to leave today.  I had a lot of fun and will see you soon.  Miss you ....Alex

Alex is going to be a big brother!!!

Wes and I are excited to announce that we are expecting another baby.  We found out a few weeks ago that it is a boy.  We are thrilled that Alex is going to have a little brother to play with.  I am almost half way through this pregnancy. It is going by so fast!!  This past week we had our Level 2 ultrasound. DJ (Wes' nickname for the baby) looks great.  I was really excited to have my mom at the ultrasound appointment with me.  Here are some pictures from the ultrasound. We are looking forward to DJ's arrival in early August.

Alex is 18 months old

Alex turned 18 months old this past Wednesday. It is so hard to believe that our baby peanut is 1 1/2.  The time has gone by so fast and we have enjoyed every minute of being parents.  We are looking forward to celebrating many many more birthdays and half birthdays.

Lunch with the Bowman family

Last weekend we met Abe, Kaci, and their baby Jackson at Kierland for lunch.  Wes and Abe have been good friends since college so we were so excited when they decided to move out here a few years ago.  It was so nice to see them. Jackson is adorable. We are looking forward to the boys growing up together.

Another trip to the park

Last week Alex and I met Michelle and Anessa and Denise and her twins, Kiran and Kathan at Sauce for lunch. Then we went to the park for some play time.  Alex loves the park and gets so sad when it is time to leave.
