Getting Ready for the "Big Day"

The wedding was finally here!! We met in the bridal suite on Saturday morning. The bridesmaids and Abby got their makeup and hair done. We had a relaxing morning. We even had Einsteins for lunch (Abby's favorite). Evan spent the day with us in the suite. All the girls passed him around. He probably enjoyed all of the attention.

Rehearsal Dinner

Friday night was Abby and Tri's rehearsal dinner at Grayhawk Golf Course. It was a night to roast and toast the bride and groom. We had a lot of laughs. Abby and Tri's family and friends had a lot of great things to say about them.
Friday morning some of the bridesmaids met Abby and my mom to get manicures and pedicures. Abby's friends had given her this shirt at her lingerie shower. She is Tri's hot mama

Abby and Tri ordered a cake for Wes because his 40th birthday was Tuesday after the wedding. This isn't the cake they originally ordered but Wes was so surprised.
Reagan (Tri's neice) and Izzy (Tri's cousin) had a great time together at the dinner

Thursday night before the wedding

Thursday night before the wedding I took Alex and Evan to the hotel to see my family. My uncles, Bruce and Norman came in town earlier that day. My cousins from St. Louis and Florida were in town too. It was great to spend some time with everyone before the weekend.

Alex was so good at dinner. We were there almost 2 hours so I was surprised he stayed in his highchair that long.... but he did great!!!

Fun Times with Grammy and Pa

My parents came in town for my sister's wedding. They arrived a week before the big event and stayed with us for part of the week before they moved into the hotel. I took the boys to the airport when they came in to surprise them. Alex was so excited to see his Grammy and Pa. We love when they are here but miss them so much when they have to go home. It was a wonderful week and we look forward to seeing them soon.

Alex's Backyardigans Party

We had a birthday party for Alex on September 20th. We had some close friends over to our house for a Backyardigan's themed party. My parents were able to be there because they had come in town the day before. The party was a lot of fun. I hope Alex enjoyed it!!
