Last Day of School

Alex's last day of school was Monday. He has had a really great year. It was amazing to watch him grow and learn. It took him awhile until he really enjoyed school. But the last few months have been so much fun for him. He loves school and would run from the parking lot into his class. He would say hello to his teachers and all of the other kids. It was so cute to watch. On Tuesday his class had an end of the year party. Abby and I took him to school so he could say good bye to the other kids and his teachers.

The class would sing a song and each kid would stand up and dance. Alex loved it and now we sing it all the time at home. We even sang it to Grammy and Pa on skype to make them get up and dance.

Dinner with the Larrabees

Sunday night we had the Larrabee family over to our house for dinner. It has been so long since we have gotten together with them. So it was nice to have dinner and catch up.

Alex and Luke haven't played together in so long. They had so much fun running around in the backyard together.

I don't think evan likes the grass. We sat him down and this is the face he made :( I didn't realized that this was the first time he had been in the grass.

Painting Pottery

This past weekend we took Alex to a place in Desert Ridge called "As You Wish." You pick out a piece of pottery to paint and then it is glazed and fired and ready in a few days for you to pick up. We chose dog dishes for Alex to paint. He had a lot of fun!

Evan hung out and watched us. He was the only one to actually spill paint on the floor. I'm not exactly sure how that happened.

On Wednesday Wes went to pick up the dog bowls. We thought they came out pretty cute! Autzen seems to like them too.

It is funny living in a house with all boys. Even Autzen is a boy dog!! But I love all of my guys!!

It is always so easy to get Evan to smile :) He is a happy baby!!

Last week we took the boys to the park. It was a gorgeous day outside. I take advantage of being outdoors before the summer comes and it gets too hot!

Autzen is now 7 years old. His fur around his mouth is getting grey but that is the only sign that he is getting older. He still acts like a puppy.

Swimming Lessons

Last week Alex started swimming lessons. We have been wanted to sign Alex up for lessons for awhile. In fact I was looking into it almost a year ago when I was pregnant with Evan. My friend, Michelle, called me to tell me that there was an opening in a semi private class with her daughter. It was a perfect day and time so I called and he got the spot. I wasn't sure what he would think of lessons but he did great his first week!! I was so proud of him. I took the camera today to get some pictures of Alex in the pool. Today was his second week of lessons.

Anessa has been taking lessons for awhile. She started the semi private lessons in March and it is so cute to watch her. She swims underwater by herself.

At the end of the lesson the kids are taken over to the frog slide. Alex doesn't hesitate at all. He loves it!!

Why is this instructor not looking at Alex as he is coming towards her? She caught him! I'm so proud of Alex for going to swimming lessons!! He seems to be enjoying them.
