We stayed very busy while we were in St. Louis. And we were able to see a lot of our family and friends. Sometimes it was just nice to hang out at Grammy and Pa's house.

Eddie is getting so big
We had a big storm on Monday and it knocked out the electricity. The boys actually thought it was fun to walk around the house with their flashlights in the dark.
later that day a firetruck was in the neighborhood so Grammy and Pa took the boys to see it. The firemen let the boys sit in the truck and gave them hats.

this is what happens when the electricity is out too long!
At first we were told the electricity would be out for 6 hours then we were told 24 hours.. Luckily the electricity came on around 9 pm so it was off for 9 hours.
There was another storm on Wednesday and this time the tornado sirens went off. We took the boys in the basement until the warnings were cleared. We ended up in the basement for almost 2 hours. They certainly experienced things in St. Louis that we don't normally see in Phoenix!

We visited my Aunt Mildred. She is amazing lady that turned 90 years old this year!!

My dad was getting ready to go to work and then Evan said "wait Pa" we turned around and he was holding onto the briefcase! He loves Pa!

Evan has an arm on him. He usually gets a few feet from you and throws the ball right at your face. Pa better watch out!

Grammy and Pa babysat the boys and I was able to have a night out with some special friends. I met Amy and Stacey when I worked at Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis and I have kept in touch with them since I moved. I love getting together with them. It was so nice to have a girls night out!!
I think I take too many pictures of the boys because now Alex says "take my picture." We were in the parking lot of Target and he wanted his picture taken
