The First Night of Chanukah

Tonight was the first night of Chanukah. Tri and Abby came over for dinner. They bought Alex the cutest shirt. Our Christmas Tree

Last week Wes went to pick out our Christmas tree. We hesitated to get a real tree this year because we weren't sure what Alex would do and Autzen has eaten ornaments in the past. But Wes really wanted a real tree so he picked out one that was smaller. We had a lot of fun decorating the tree this year. Alex even helped us (a little). ZooLights

Tonight we took Alex to the Phoenix Zoo to see ZooLights. We met Carly, Ben and Luke there. We had a great time! Alex rode the carousel although we don't think he is a big fan. Maybe he gets that from grandpa (haha). He enjoyed watching the light show and eating his animal crackers. I think the parents liked the talking giraffe better than the babies. We will have to go again next year. I don't think I like this ride
