Now that the weather is getting warmer the boys love being outside

Chanen Preschool ART WEEK

Alex had ART WEEK this past week at school. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there were special projects for the kids in the Art Studio. The parents were invited to help their child do their art acitivity. I went up on Wednesday to help Alex tie-dye a t-shirt. I arrived at school a few minutes early so I met Alex in his classroom. I was so amazed watching him and all of his friends line up at the door and walk to the art room. They all listened and behaved so well! It was so cute!! (Now I need to learn some tips from his teachers haha) I love being able to join Alex in all his activities at school. I just can't believe how grown up he is becoming.

Happy Birthday Harlow!

Harlow turned 2 a few weeks ago!! She is the daughter of our friends, Dave and Lindsay. She had her birthday party at My Gym. We have never been there before but the kids loved it!!

A Visit with Bruce and Judy

Bruce and Judy came in town for a long weekend. It was so good to see them. Is is funny how the boys remember them even if it has been months since our last visit.

Katie came over for dinner Saturday night with her friend, George. Alex was not shy at all and wanted to be by them the whole night!

Katie's birthday is on February 24 so we celebrated a little early. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!!

I feel like I need a referee's jersey when I am with the boys. They are always taking toys away from one another or doing something that warrants me to intervene but sometimes I catch these sweet moments of them together that I absolutely LOVE!!

Evan adores his big brother and wants to do whatever Alex is doing. He sat down next to him to watch tv. I don't think he could have gotten any closer.

Alex loves to jump around in Evan's crib with him. It is so cute to hear them laughing so hard!!

SNOW DAY at School!!!

Alex had a SNOW DAY at his school. Snow was brought in and put on the parking lot. Some of the kids in his class have never seen snow so this was definitely a new experience for them. This particular day was really cold and windy. I sent Alex with gloves, a hat and a big winter jacket from last season and I'm glad I did because it was COLD!!
