Tri got this superman snuggie as a gift. We thought this was hilarious!!

Christmas 2010

Abby and Tri came over for dinner Christmas Eve. We love living so close to them. It is so nice to have some family in town. And the boys are always so excited to see Aunt Abby and Uncle Tri.

Alex and Evan were good boys this year!!
The boys were so excited to go downstairs and see what Santa had brought them. Alex's face was priceless. He saw all of the gifts and said "Santa brought me presents and a bike." He was also shocked to find out that Santa had eaten the cookies and drank the milk. He may have had a little help from his elf, Moose!

Evan and Moose

Our dog Autzen (aka Moose) is chocolate lab that is almost 100 lb. Evan loves his dog!! Lately when Moose is laying on the floor or on our bed Evan climbs on him like he is a horse. Autzen just sits there and lets him do it. Other times Evan will just give Moose a hug. They are so cute together!!

lots of hugs for Moosie

Gingerbread Houses and Trains

This year I bought a gingerbread train for Alex. He worked on it with Juliette one morning. He had so much fun doing it that I thought I would buy another and do it with him. We had a great time but the gingerbread house didn't turn out so good!
Alex and the gingerbread train
The gingerbread house. Alex had fun decorating the house and eating the candy at the same time. I didn't do too well with the icing. It was all over the place but we had fun making the house and I look forward to doing this with Alex and Evan next year!

Evan is 18 months old!!

This post is a little late but Evan turned 18 months on December 20th. It is so hard to believe he is already 1 1/2 years old. It feels like yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital. Evan (aka Eban since Alex couldn't say "v" when Evan was born) is such a happy baby. He is always smiling and laughing!! It seems like he is doing something new everyday. He is started to say more words all the time. But what makes me laugh the most is when we ask him to do his animal noises. I have to say it is so cute!! He knows how to get his point across one way or another. I love watching him with Alex. He wants to do whatever his big brother is doing. I am so proud to be his mommy!! We love you Eban!
