Bubbles!!

This past Tuesday Abby came over for lunch and to hang out with me and the boys. We love that she no longer works on Tuesdays!! Before Abby came over I went to Babies R Us with the boys and Alex was able to pick out a present since he has been sleeping so well in his big boy bed. He wanted a new xylophone and some bubbles. The weather was great that day so we played outside with our new bubbles.

Moosie....do you want to blow some bubbles??

Going for A Bike Ride

Wes recently bought a new mountain bike and carrier that connects to the bike for the boys to ride in. He has taken Alex for a short ride around the neighborhood but this past weekend he took both boys for a ride together. They were so cute!! I'm not sure what Evan was thinking because he had a surprised look on his face the whole time. Hopefully Mommy can get a bike too so we can go for family ride but I ride a bike like Phoebe from "Friends" so it may be awhile. Until then I will let daddy enjoy the time with his boys.

A Weekend with Bruce and Judy

Bruce and Judy came in town this past weekend for a visit. They were in Vegas the first part of the week and then made a stop in Phoenix before they returned home. It is always great to see them and we had a nice weekend.
Uncle Bruce and Evan
Judy and Katie decided to make Rice Krispie treats with Alex. He first counted out the marshmallows with Judy
Then he poured the cups of Rice Krispies into the bowl with Katie
He waited for the marshmallows to cool
Then he added the sprinkles on top. He had so much fun but wouldn't try the treats he made.
Blowing bubbles
Alex tried but I think something was wrong with our bubbles. They didn't seem to work well.
Katie and her little buddy
Saturday morning we met Bruce and Judy along with Katie, her friend, Natalie and Abby at the Marriott to hang out by the pool. They have a lazy river there and we thought Alex would have fun. We all had a blast!! It was a great day :)
Testing the water!!
Evan hung out at the pool in his swimming suit too

Alex and Katie . Katie's friend Natalie is in the background. Alex was so cute he kept calling her Matalie.
Abby tried to take Evan in the pool but he didn't like it. He wasn't feeling good that day :(

After Alex's first trip around the river he wanted to get out and hang out by Katie and Natalie. He just sat next to katie and talked to her. He is growing up so fast. Alex was hungry so Judy took him a chicken taco. We think he liked the girls at the taco stand because he went back 3 times for more tacos haha

What are you doing daddy??
Going around the river another time. Wes said Alex just hung onto the inner tube and watched everyone.

Playing with Katie at lunch. He thought it was fun to pour water from one glass to another and then drink it
Oops.... too much water
Evan was worn out from our day at the pool
Our family
Bruce and Judy stopped by the house on Sunday morning before they had to go to the airport. It was nice to hang out and have breakfast with them
Look at me.... I'm almost crawling!!
Playing around with Uncle Bruce
After Bruce and Judy left we took the boys to walk around Kierland. We took Alex's swimming suit in case he noticed the water fountains. It didn't take him long before he wanted to go into the water and play

Playing in the fountains
Evan had fun watching Alex. Soon he will be able to run around and play with his big brother in the fountains :)

Happy Birthday Ethan!!

Our friends Ken and Michelle's son, Ethan, turned 1 on April 20. His birthday party was last weekend. We were happy we could be there to help celebrate. Ken's birthday is also on April 20th....Happy Birthday Ken!!
Ken, Anessa and Michelle helping Ethan celebrate his birthday
Evan was so excited to go to the party. Look at those cheeks!!!
Alex kept busy at the party. He would play inside for a bit and then go outside to jump on the trampoline. Then when it got too hot outside he would come inside again. Thank goodness Abby and Tri were there to help me with the boys

Pump It Up

I have been trying to find new and fun places to take Alex. I heard of this place called Pump It Up. It has inflatable bouncey houses for kids to play in. They have open jump time a few mornings a week for younger kids. So this past Thursday Juliette and I took the boys. I was overwhelmed when we walked in. The bouncey houses were HUGE!!! There were 2 different rooms for the kids to go into. Alex immediately started jumping. We couldn't get him to try a new one because he was having so much fun. We had a BLAST and I can't wait to take the kids back there again!!
Alex jumping around
He had so much fun!!

Evan took a nap while we were there. He can fall asleep anywhere.
This is one of the bouncey houses. On the left is a rock wall for the kids to climb up and then there is a bridge to walk across and then you slide down on the right.
in the middle was a ball pit and Evan had fun in there
I'm not so sure about this??
Mommy with her boys
We met Alex's friend, Easton, there. Unfortunately they had to get there late so they were only there 30 minutes but we are definitely going to take the kids back there.
Going down the slide
All smiles :)
Alex loved the slide!! This bouncey house had a maze to crawl through before you made it to the slide. Juliette and I would take turns helping Alex through. We were worn out by the time we left.
Juliette is a good sport for helping Alex and then she had to come down the slide
Eason's sister, Harlow, was there too. She is adorable and just turned 1 in February. Evan was flirting with her. It was so cute!! So we had to take a picture of them together. Harlow's babysitter is holding her.
