Our Christmas Tree

Last weekend we went to pick out our Christmas tree. We thought it would be fun for Alex to see all the Christmas trees. We even took Autzen along with us. He stayed in the car while we chose a tree.

Alex was so excited when he saw all the trees. Wes told him to find a Tree and he was looking for Uncle Tri haha
I think I like this one
making sure we found the perfect tree. He checked them all out
We found a good one
Evan had a good time too
After picking out our tree we went to Petsmart to get some Christmas presents for Autzen and Rudy. Alex picked out these penguins but then he wouldn't let go of them. I guess he thought they for him. A few days later Autzen ate the penguins so we had to find Rudy another present
We have an Elmo Christmas Stocking that sings "Jingle Bells." Alex used to love it and think it was so funny. This year he was a little afraid of it. But Evan loved it!!

Chanukah Party at School

Last Friday Alex had a Chanukah party at school. We had a lot of fun. The kids sang a few songs and the teacher (Miss Dvora) read a Chanukah story and then the kids ate lunch. It was nice to meet some of the other parents too.

Christmas Party with the Larrabee's and Falconbridge's

We were invited to celebrate the holidays with our good friends Carly, Ben, Shawn and Steff. We went to the Larrabee house for dinner and to open presents. Carly made her yummy chili mac while Steff brought appetizers and I made a holiday cake. We met when Alex, Luke and Emma were 4 months old and we have stayed close friends. Now we have additions to our group. Will is 9 mo and Adam is 5 mo old. We don't see each other as often but we always have a great time when we are together!!

Alex really liked Will's new phone
It is amazing to see how Alex, Emma and Luke have grown up. We hope they remain close friends forever. Thank you to the Larrabee's and Falconbridge's for all of the great presents. We had a great night and look forward to many more holidays together....

Happy Chanukah (1st night)

Friday December 11th was the first night of Chanukah. Abby and Tri came over for dinner. Alex has been learning about Chanukah at school so he sang the dreidel song while we ate. He also helped Abby light the candles. We are looking forward to the next 7 nights of Chanukah.

Painting with Juliette

Last Thursday I went shopping for 7 hours. I only had a few days to get our Holiday shopping done. While I was gone....Alex and Juliette were busy at the house having fun. First we set Alex up to finger paint. Then later in the day Juliette made a Rice Krispie house with Alex. From the pictures it looked like Alex had a great day!!
