Thanksgiving Week With Grammy & Pa!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. One of the reasons I love it so much is because Grammy and Pa get to spend a whole week with us!!
On Wednesday Alex had a Thanksgiving program at school. I was shocked to find out that it was only his class in the program. But it made it that much better. His teachers practiced singing numerous songs with the kids, made Thanksgiving t shirts for each of them and cooked a Thanksgiving meal too. They worked so hard to make the program so special.... and it was amazing! The kids were so adorable!!
Alex only practiced singing one song at home so I couldn't believe they all sang 5 or 6 songs
Pa went with me to the program and Alex was so excited to see him there
The teachers made cranberries, mashed potatoes and stuffing for all of the kids
Alex's friend Easton and his mommy and daddy
Alex was so proud of his t shirt... he wouldn't take it off
My mom spent the day cooking at Abby's house so I took the boys to see her after their nap. Abby has to clear off all of the shelves when we come over. Evan loved hiding in the bookcase.

the second best thing to playing in the bookcase is playing in the plastic containers
my boys
Wes was off work on Friday so we decided to take the boys, Grammy and Pa to Dave & Busters. Alex loves riding the virtual roller coaster
Daddy found a game he could play with Alex... but I think he has an unfair advantage. I don't think Alex can see what he is doing. haha
riding the wave runner with Pa
another turn on the virtual coaster. This time Evan rode too!
All of us on the wave runners
we tried to get a picture of Alex and Evan in the photo booth
then we thought it would be fun if they took a picture with Grammy and Pa
only Evan changed the language from English so we had no idea what they were saying. next time we will get a better picture

On Saturday night we went to Zoolights. We bought Alex and Evan hats during the day since it was supposed to be pretty cold that evening

waiting in line to go in to the park
It is amazing how different Evan was this year. He was pointing at all the lights! It was fun to see the look on his little face.
the talking giraffe. She wasn't as funny this year haha
Me and Wes with Alex
The highlight of the evening was Grammy and Alex on the camel. Alex loved it!!

another ride around

riding the carousel before it was time to leave
Evan is starting to enjoy the carousel now too
We had to buy light swords before we left. Big mistake!!
On Sunday we had to say good bye to Grammy and Pa. We had a fantastic week with them and can't wait till their next visit. See you soon!! love you and miss you tons!!
