One morning Wes said that he was going to take a week off of work and asked if we should take the boys to Disneyland. Of course I said "YES!!!" Alex has been asking for awhile to go see Mickey Mouse so I knew the boys would be excited too!! I told Alex we would be going to Disneyland in October so everyday he woke up and asked if it was October yet. I now know to wait a little before telling the boys they are going somewhere. So, for the next 5 weeks or so I was looking something up related to Disneyland almost everyday. I was counting down the days along with the boys!!
Our trip is finally here and we are off to see Mickey and friends!!
We tried to leave early in the morning so we could have a few hours at the park before it closed. We got to the hotel around 3:30 and by 4:30 we were getting on the shuttle to go to Disneyland

...and here we are!!! The park was decorated for Halloween so we loved seeing all of the pumpkins decorated like the characters (in fact everyday we left Evan would wave and say good bye to each one of them...so cute!)

The boys were worn out after a drive from Phoenix and a few hours at the park. We came back to the hotel and watched a show with them and then they were ready for bed.
Alex was sound asleep. He never napped in the car because he was so excited!
The next day we woke up and went to California Adventure

When I told Alex we were going to Disneyland and showed him some information on the computer the first thing he noticed was the Mickey Mouse ferris wheel. And it was the first thing he noticed when he saw the map!!

we spent a few hours at California Adventure and then it was time to go back to the hotel for naps. Later that night we had plans to go to Mickey's Halloween party!
