A Wonderful Trip to St. Louis

We had so much fun during the 2 weeks that we were in St. Louis.  We enjoyed spending a lot of time with family and friends.
I found a cute recipe for reindeer cookies on pinterest
making cookies with Grammy

Evan didn't want to make cookies...he was busy playing with Batman
let's roll the dough

decorating the reindeer with M&Ms and chocolate covered pretzels
I think they came out so cute and they were yummy too!
Bruce and Evan
celebrating the 7th night of Chanukah
what's in my stocking??

Evan was so funny with his kaleidoscope....  the hockey game was on tv and Evan was looking through the kaleidoscope and when I asked Evan what he saw he said the hockey game. He kept forgetting to close his other eye
I think Alex had a list of everything he wanted to do while he was in St. Louis and one night he told me that he wanted to play in the snow the next day. Unfortunately at that time it didn't look like snow was in the forecast.  But one night we heard that St. Louis would be expecting 1-2 inches of snow by the next morning. I didn't mention it to the boys since the weather is always so unpredictable in St. Louis.  BUT.....it did snow that night and the boys were so excited to wake up and look out the front door!!
we didn't waste any time getting ready to play outside considering the snow would probably be melting by the end of the day
Pa went in the attic and found the sled and took the boys for rides
this is the first time that Evan has played in the snow
Alex making snow angels
a ride on the sidewalk??

Mommy is about to be hit by a snowball!!

the boys just loved the snow....I think we might be taking a trip to Flagstaff soon
making the worlds smallest snowman
having fun!
there is the snowman
we spent about 15 minutes outside and then it got too cold for the boys but they had a blast when they were in the snow!
staying busy with markers and crayons
I made a reservation to go to Bounce U. I wasn't really sure what to expect since we had never been there before...  The place was packed when we got there but the boys had fun!
Evan going down the biggest slide
funny eyes
here comes Alex
Evan going through the obstacle course
there was one area that the boys could shoot nerf balls at each other
they had a blast
they had no idea that they were hitting each other with the balls
Evan could hardly see but he was having so much fun

Evan found another thing for him...baseball
later that night we had our family over for dinner
Evan and Katie
Alli and Alex
Alex and Aunt Debbie
Edye helping the boys open a present
We had to show everyone our new Doggie Doo game
Alex was laughing so hard
we were able to light the candles with everyone to celebrate the last night of Chanukah
Evan helping Uncle Norman open his present
Evan and Pa being silly

kisses for Grammy
We had a wonderful trip and we were sad to leave
We loved spending so much time with Grammy and Pa....we will miss you!!!

I was so lucky to have Katie fly back with me and the boys. Even though they did great it was nice to have an extra set of hands
Evan was trying to hide from the camera
